Web Filtering

The web offers massive resources for research and access to databases and tools to help streamline a business. But who keeps an eye on who is doing what on the web? With most businesses having an internet connection and large portion using it to conduct business over / through it, keeping IT systems available and at maximum productivity
Web filtering allows the enterprise to control what web content users have access to. Vaioni use powerful web filtering software to help keep a business protected from inappropriate content being access and used.

For example, the enterprise may not want to allow access to pornographic web content. So this means anything relating to pornographic material, including images will be blocked. But content relating to sex education will be allowed. The powerful system will also allow you to block content based on keywords in search engines, block web content based on key phrases within the website and also through inappropriate images. It does not purely filter based on a banned list of sites (although this feature is also available); our system will provide a much more intelligent form of filtering. Even set times of the day certain users or groups are allowed access to the internet as a whole, this may exclude email.

LDAP - Connect to your existing LDAP authentication systems, including Microsoft Active Directory, Novell eDirectory, OpenLDAP and many more. Map web filter settings to your existing network groups with point-and-click ease.

Local user database - Vaioni’s Web Content Filtering includes its own authentication database out-of-the-box, no external systems required. Add users and groups, map filter settings, and control access all from one place.

Reports - Choose from a wide range of ready-processed reports, or generate your own. Monitor web usage, view most visited sites, track user activity and much, much more. "Drill down" for finer detail, or remodel the results from any perspective. View, point, and click your way through the data, then export to your favourite spreadsheet.

Automated notifications - Pro-actively monitor Vaioni’s Web Content Filtering performance with automatic report delivery and instant alerts via email or SMS.
