The company has built an enviable reputation as market leader in supplying the finest international dishes to Pubs, Restaurants, Hotels, Travel and Leisure, Business and Industry across the UK and Europe.
Established in 1985 by Lak & Kamal Basran, The Authentic Food Company recently celebrated 20 years in business with a number of new appointments and a new strategic direction. The main changes have occurred in the sales and NPD departments with a view to developing the authentic brand in new sectors of the market.

Led by NPD Controller Lee Tynan, the team of executive chefs ensure every product meets the company's stringent requirements for quality and taste. All our chefs are experienced professionals with a passion for creating only the finest products which finally bear the AFC brand. Their experience spans top level restaurants, conference and banqueting, contract catering, hotel menu development and event catering.

Requirement
The Authentic Food Company required a complete network overhaul for their HQ. New servers, switches, routers and connectivity with a support contract to provide an outsourcing facility for their core infrastructure.

Solution
Vaioni worked closely with Authentic to re-design the entire network. New File Servers, Mail Servers and Print Servers were designed around Microsoft Windows and Exchange Servers, new switches and routers and Firewalling were all designed around Cisco and maintenance from our 1st class team of technical engineers and support department.

Vaioni implemented the entire solution to server over 40 users at HQ and continue to support Authentic to this day.

Since then Authentic have opened a second office which Vaioni have deployed a solution for. A VPN solution and our bonded DSL was also deployed to enhance the VPN issues they faced from the restrictions of broadband.
